That video really did something for me when I was a kid.
Made me wonder what she was doing with a hack like David Coverdale ("David Cover Version")
I always thought she would have had more of an acting career. The only thing I remember Kitaen in was the God awful New WKRP in Cincinnati. And she was the only bright spot in that as the sexy nighttime DJ. She must have had drug issues as I see Dr. Drew's Celebrity Rehab on her credits. And the freak show The Surreal Life. Too bad
Acting wise she's probably best known for The Perils of Gwendoline and a small role as one of Jerry's annoying girlfriends in Seinfeld.

I’ve got six words for y’all: “the”, “woman”, “in”, “red”, “weird” and “science”.

She chose a different one than Hollywood. Last I heard she was owning (running?) a top-shelf clothing boutique in Beverly Hills, and is happier for it. I think she also came from a wealthy family. So I don’t think money was ever an issue with her. All the more reason to consider that the stalling of her career may well be voluntary. You made it sound as though she failed at acting, that does not appear to be the case.

Her career sure did stall…. She got married. Had kids. And because a New York socialite. New York high society.

jeffersoncody must be sleeping lol the 1980's hairstyles...personally responsible for the hole in the ozone layer. :-/ I lost my HS yearbook (from 1988) but those photos bring back "the memories" just the same because most of the chicks in my class had hairdos just like that. There was nothing quite like the 80s! lol

It looked like hurricane force winds blew all of her hair to one side and she sprayed in place to preserve the moment. Ugh

Oh, I was a real hoot to date a girl with big hair It took them nine hours to get ready to go anywhere No matter what, you still had the stench of the 245 cans of hair spray Heaven help you if you touched it by accident ("DON'T MESS MY HAIR UP!") And you didn't dare get within 500 yards of any open flame. The girl would have incinerated faster than Hiroshima after the A bomb I used to gel and/or spray my hair up as well. Paul Mitchell, how I have missed my old friend.
