And now you've reminded me that the American actress Hope Lange was the niece of the legendary photographer, Dorothea Lange, who took one of the great photographs of the Depression known as "The Migrant Mother."

Cliff Arquette, comedian, actor, pianist, composer and songwriter who went by the stage name of Charley Weaver had a son, actor Lewis Arquette. Lewis had a bevy of children who became prominent in the industry as actors, and whose marriages broadened those horizons even more:
Patricia Arquette, actress, married Nicolas Cage. His uncle is Francis Coppola. His grandfather was composer Carmine Coppola. Actress Talia Shire is his aunt; Sophia Coppola is his cousin. After he and Patricia divorced, he married and divorced Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis.
David Arquette, actor, married and divorced actress Courtney Cox. Wife now is producer Christina McLarty Arquette.

Ricky married actress Kristin Harmon, sister of actor Mark Harmon, who married actress Pam Dawber. Kristin's parents were football player/broadcaster, Tom Harmon and actress, Elyse Knox. Ricky and Kristin had a daughter, actress Tracy Nelson, and sons, singers/songwriters Gunnar Nelson and Matthew Nelson, and actor Sam Nelson. Tracy married actor William R. Efrem Zimbalist Jr. was the son of the renowned Russian-born concert violinist Efrem Zimbalist Sr. and Romanian-born opera singer Alma Gluck.

Malcolm McDowell of "A Clockwork Orange," "Time After Time," and "Star Trek: First Contact" (he killed Kirk!) is the Uncle of Alexander Siddig who played Dr. Bashir on "Star Trek: Deep Space 9." Siddig's father was Sudanese and his mother was English and the older sister of Mr. McDowell.
