I'm all for bashing the POTUS. It's a tradition. It is however getting out of hand. Not just late night tv. It is everywhere every single day. It is obsessive. Trump brings it on himself and doesn't seem to care. Where are the positives though? If you put aside Trumps tweets is he doing a good job? Seems to me so far so good. Yet every single day it is all negative with Trump. He had no honeymoon period for say his first few months or a year perhaps. Obama had an 8 year honeymoon period.

The Late Show with Steven Colbert, and Late Night with Seth Myers have never enjoyed higher ratings since they started bashing Donald Trump. So, your theory that it would result in less viewers is wrong.

Only a conservative Republican would say Obama had any honeymoon. Everybody else will tell you Obama had no honeymoon. As soon as he was elected, Republicans went on record saying they would do everything they could to make him a one term president. The only reason Obama signed so many executive orders was because the Republicans gave him no support and fought him on everything.

FOX NEWS always gets a mention when obviously partisan politics comes in to it. The msm media including daytime tv and 60 Minutes etc gave Obama a free ride. Obama and his first year was about how he was settling with his family and cute pics and how adorable they were. Any critique of the Messiah from anyone the msm rushed in to defend. Calling anyone and everything racist. An anti-Obama book or film was regarded as bollox by the media. This book about Trump by Wolff the msm is looking at it as though there might be some truth there at the very least. president Trump has received the most negative attention by the media ever. Most of it very unfair.

Is this a joke? 95% of the media was slavishly licking Obama's boots before he even got into office.

And in spite of New Orleans being liberal (like most big cities) most of the callers into local talk radio are conservative. So, between talk radio, Fox News and many of the people I talk with, I am lambasted with right leaning political viewpoints. And, the mainstream media is never hesitant to report on the Republican and conservative opposition to the left, and the Democrats. So I listen to all sides with full awareness of each source's bias. (In my experience, the right is far more outspoken than the left. Most lefties won't talk politics unless you ask them. Or, they object to what the right is saying. On the other hand, many "righties" will bring up politics on their own. Ever notice that? )
