The U.S. can start doing things right by making some properly sized chairs for 6 foot tall people made out of something else besides leather, vinyl, or wicker. You are onto something here. This is how to fix the American economy.

Really??? The last time the United States seriously invested in infrastructure is when Jimmy Carter was president. Besides, all you would do with those extra millions is spend it on stupid shit like Donald Trump's border wall. Time to put your fucking money where your mouth is and fix the broken water works in the U.S. Some of those water mains, especially in Texas, haven't been replaced since 1926. And some of the bridges haven't been replaced since 1887, like the one at the east edge of town. And what did Obama do for infrastructure? He was president for eight years. And the infrastructure is worse now than it was eight years ago. I personally didn't vote for Trump. And I was never in favor of that stupid wall. As far as US money spent on third world countries' infrastructure, I will have to do some research. Because I don't know off the top of my head. Always back to "Obama" this and "Obama" that, what are you going to start in with the "Hillary" garbage next... Do you know how tiresome that gets? The infrastructure has been worse since Jimmy Carter left office. Do you even know when that was? It was January 20th 1981 when the U.S. started to decline, and over the years it became the shithole nation it is today. Fucking millennials, you have no point of reference at all, you just gobble up every stupid lie the talking ditto heads on Fox News spew out like it's the gospel truth or something. The point is that you never saw the United States at it's full glory, the way it is supposed to be back before Ronald Reagan started gutting the government and wrecking the economy and destroying the education system, last but not least destroying the public services and handing that function off to corporations. All the utilities used to be public services of the government, and that is the last time any of the infrastructure was properly maintained or looked after. But Republicans destroyed all of that, it is just that you don't connect actions with consequences because it has taken 37 years for it to get so bad that it is running critical. But you don't see it that way because you were born into a broken down society so you think that that is normal because you don't know any other way. Hence why I say that you have no point of reference to realize just how bad it has gotten.

This is how to fix the American economy. As a matter of fact, it is a good place to start fixing the economy. Because the steel mills of the 1970's are no longer a valid way to drive the economy. And we have all seen how unstable an oil driven economy is. See where I am going with this? Raping the Earth with fracking and mining is not the answer. However, an economy driven by renewable resources is more of a viable answer to the economic problem.

Haiti is a shithole because America let it become one under the Duvalier's because of it's supposed strategic importance. So here we are 50 years later. And it's still America's fault? No, but given all that and the fact no one can fix the mess that's festered for decades it almost becomes a humanitarian crisis.

Or did the Republicans destroy it all? Your post doesn't make sense.

Furniture is a commodity that everyone needs, it used to be back in the 1970's that everyone understood that. But I guess you like sitting on the floor on a rug... Trying to bring back that Ronald Reagan all American made blue jeans to save the economy didn't work out too well for you, did it... Here's to shithole countries, you had better get used to living in one because people are not about to start listening to how to make it better. And here's a little something just for Donald Trump, enjoy!!

You can't even do math correctly... Get out your calculator, it has been exactly 37 years down to the month. And yes Republicans have been destroying the U.S. continuously for 37 years now. It started 37 years ago and Donald Trump is finishing it. Do you not get that the destruction is an ongoing process, or are you just retarded or something?

Like I said, you don't make any sense. You don't know what you are talking about. There are many conservative Republican wackos on this board who blame liberals and Democrats for everything. An entire continent is a “humanitarian crisis”? How rich do you have to be to think it’s okay to import that crisis to America? These people aren’t your slaves. You can’t have them. Clean your own toilet.

Asia has high population density! They sleep in drawers! America must give money to rich politicians and Bono to assimilate them to our values!

Maybe one reason people from shithole countries want to come here is to escape their shithole countries and come to a better place?
Maybe one reason people from countries like Norway and Sweden aren't trying to come here is because they have it better there --- universal health care, free college tuition, lower maternity deaths, less crime, less gun violence, higher standard of living, etc.

The nasty truth that Americans refuse to face or even acknowledge because they have been conditioned to think that leaving behind trickle down economics somehow equates to Communism. That is exactly what I am saying. And in that long 37 years there were only 2 Democrat presidents. Not enough time or resources to even begin fixing the damage that Republicans had already done. Now it is too late and Donald Trump will cause the collapse of the United States, that will be much like the fall of the Soviet Union. Which was by design according to Putin's plans as revenge for what Ronald Reagan had done to Russia. And so what Ronald Reagan started so long ago now comes full circle.
