Trump said from the start that he was anti-PC. Yes, he could be a little less blunt, but he's telling it like it is. He didn't criticize the people of these countries, who are really victims of the incompetence and corruption they live under. It's the leadership and the conditions it creates that Trump is commenting. In Haiti, for instance, the people lived in shacks on garbage heaps before the earthquake, and they're about in the same place now. It seems that those who take the greatest offense at Trump's alleged "shithole" remark, are those who can't get their fill of eating PC BS, ironically. Yes, he should watch what he says, even in private meetings as was this one, but who could deny, in all honesty, that the countries named are really shitholes that they. themselves, wouldn't think of visiting.
The Haitian earthquake was a great opportunity for the sanctimonious Hollywood celebs to get out and tell the rest of us what WE could do to help these people. So, where were these big mouths for the decades that preceded the earthquake and these people were living like animals? I guess there was not much publicity value in coming out then and calling the conditions to the world. What hypocrites. No wonder Trump sticks in their collective craw!

I remember after the Haiti earthquake. they said only 1 out of 10 bucks that the US donated actually MADE it to the publics hands. Corruption is widespread down there. yet Sean Penn is crying about Trump being the enemy of Mankind? How did Robin Wright put up with his insane BS?!

Yes, I donated to the Red Cross after the earthquake, and months later learned that the monies that were donated barely made it to the people in need, if at all. There have also been too many reports of the same thing (donated monies ending up in the pockets of CEO's of large charity organizations), wounded veterans groups, for instance. This has turned me off completely from making charitable donations any more.I wonder how much Shriners' Hospital and St. Jude's Hospital for Children really need when one considers the fortunes they put into advertising and the "gifts" they offer for donating. One would think that every donated dollar would go to those in need or to research. I also don't like the "$19/month" deal they offer to those who donate. I one wants t donate, they should donate what they want, when they want, and not be tied to a schedule. Charitable organizations can be as corrupt as the "shithole" countries Trump referred to!

Yep, most of the money probably ends up in the bank accounts of corrupt government scum and the dictator leader. Who then go on to blame the west for not helping them enough. Sending money is a waste of time. You need troops going in to deliver food and shelter to the people. Where's the UN when it's needed??

Trump is not afraid of speaking his mind. Politicians, always, are. Despite his flaws, I'll take Trump over the career politicians any day.

The U.S. can start doing things right by making some properly sized chairs for 6 foot tall people made out of something else besides leather, vinyl, or wicker. You are onto something here. This is how to fix the American economy. And you know all this just started about a year ago. The great American chair industry cranked out wonderful places for people of all sizes and gender identities to park their asses until Jan 19, 2017, then Trump took office and then finding a decent seat in this country became damn near impossible. Even the chairs made during the Golden Obama Age are no longer available because Russian agents destroyed them, in Chief Warbird's case he got drunk on vodka.

He's probably collapsed on a Chinese chair drinking Chinese vodka. Under Obama, wicker chairs were the future. Then he outsourced them.

only a bleeding heart SJW would not call this a shithole Calling a place a "shithole" and then not helping, is still not helping. Throwing money at it isn't going to help. Someone who is qualified should fix the problem not some backwater hick from some northern town or nonexistant corporation that nobody has ever heard of. Independent contractors are bullshit, and are just more of that corruption that is not helping. Incidentally your "shithole" campaign to sidestep accountability for shamelessly promoting racism is not going to work. www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/deceased-navy-vets-mother-denied-visa-forced-miss-sons-funeral-193150001.htmlSince when has that sort of racism ever been patriotic?

The press and the Democrats are all upset because President Trump described Haiti and certain African countries as "shit holes". Pure politics. So what? Those countries are shit holes. Might as well call a spade a spade. Sometimes it is more affective NOT to be politically correct. www.nbcnews.com/politics/white-house/trump-referred-haiti-african-countries-shithole-nations-n836946If these countries don't like being called shit holes, maybe they should start doing things right instead being a drag on the world, and a pariah to their own people. Actually, the way it shakes out... It was Steven Miller who put Donald Trump up to calling those countries "shitholes" or "shithouse" as some senators like to claim. Senator Tom Cotton approached Donald Trump with the idea, but it was Steven Miller who was responsible for the coarse language. Thus the overall plan was to keep the nation distracted with outrage over presidential profanity while Republicans swept through thier border wall and everything else they wanted with a secret vote. But fortunately it didn't work out that way. We are so very fortunate that those who are evil are most often also stupid. However, the most evil of all do not see themselves as evil, hence the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.
