Not something I'd do but what consenting adults do is none of my business. I suppose the main question is whether Edwards was aware how vulnerable the teenager was or not. If he was aware, or even if he suspected it, it's pretty unpleasant, even if not technically illegal. Oh, it's completely shitty, it's just the fake concern of those like the Sun and other posters here when there only agenda is attacking the BBC.

I'm astounded by your fake caring when all you give a fuck about is the opportunity to bash the Beeb. Be honest and save the fake tears. Oh come off it, ygg. Did you see my analogy with Prince Andrew? Would you apply any of same arguments:- "he did nothing wrong/illegal", or "it's none of my business what consenting adults do", or "people only care because they want to bash the organisation he represents" about him? Did you apply these arguments at the time? At least the Royal family understood the damage to their reputation and did what they could to distance themselves from the actions of the person representing them. The BBC? Hmmm, not so much.
And I'm not tearful, I'm angry that influential figures at the BBC remain untouchable and that nothing appears to heave been learned what what happened with Jimmy Savile. Or do you think I don't give a fuck about what he got up to either?

No, I think we all found Saville equally revolting although the sainted Margaret Thatcher was a huge fan of Jimmy's and even when told of the rumours and advised not to give him a gong she insisted on him being honoured. Still, the BBC, eh.

I'm sure the parents disagree. Even if this teenager had been addicted to crack and estranged from their parents before Huw Edwards came along, he could have only made the situation far worse than it was already. Do you really think there's nothing wrong with paying some crack-addicted kid with broken down family relations to take their kit off in front of you for your pleasure? As far as I'm aware the police wouldn't press charges against you for offering drinks to an alcoholic who is willing to accept them, but that doesn't mean there is nothing wrong with doing that. Not something I'd do but what consenting adults do is none of my business. When your job is funded by public money it's everyone's business. Or where do you think his £400,000 a year salary comes from? Forex?

Think you've replied to the wrong person. No, I replied to you. Replied to someone about public money requiring public knowledge of who some of that money goes to and for what reason, then you from out of nowhere talk about sex photos, so... Yeah, looks like you replied to the wrong person.

Changing a conversation about misused public funds to one about Onlyfans is as American as it gets if anyone isn't British it's you 😂🤣 hilarious.

So did they castrate this Edwards chap or chop off his head? We need updates. Still in hospital I think, he committed no crimes, I think it backfired on the newspaper involved which is now even more hated if that was possible. A real muck raking rag with a psychopathic hatred of the BBC (which the story was meant to harm) due to Rupert Murdoch owning it.

He and his wife have kids? Here's hoping everything gets safely sorted out. For the kids.
