Hayley Atwell Says ‘Doctor Strange 2’ Cameo Was ‘Frustrating’ and Didn’t Serve Peggy ‘Very Well’: ‘That Wasn’t My Choice’ to Instantly Kill Her Off
1. The whole point of the scene was to show how powerful (and insane) Wanda has become. She was not singled out, they ALL died. It wasn't a personal thing directed at her.
2. Sorry your shows sorta don't count, but your character was never as important as you thought she was. She's a supporting character and a pretty minor one at that.

The Illuminati sequence is the worst part of the movie. Its all fan service and pointless cameos. Captain Carter would be a fun variant if she encountered Steve or Bucky or Sam. What connection does she have to Strange? None.

She doesn't have any connection to Sam or Bucky either - she's from another universe - nor does the character have to for the scene to serve it's purpose.
She's a nobody character and her complaint has no merit.

I don't mind cameos and fan service if it has a purpose or is entertaining.
Spiderman is overrated as shit. 93% and 98%, get the fuck out of here. Insanity.

Peggy as Captain America's past life wife suddenly thrown into the bizarre world of Doctor Strange was jarring. She looked good but the sequel was ultimately a rather random displacement of characters.

It's happening again with Deadpool 3, the fans are coming up with crazy ideas like an alternate Wanda fighting an alternate Dark Phoenix, Magneto as the ruler of Deadpool's world, etc.

Speaking of strange, there's this idea that she can't be seen with certain characters because they never stood next to each other in a previous movie.

It was jarring you can like the actress and still think that had it been a daughter of Captain America and Peggy Carter it probably would have looked less odd.

She could have said no to appear in the movie.
