I might be tempted to see this, even though I didn't like the 2019 movie. Hopefully they will include the Timmy Baterman backstory, and more thoroughly than the 1989 movie.

So it does look like the Timmy Baterman backstory will be explored in this. Hope it will be done right.
And from what I've read, the Mi'kmaq and Wendigo legends will be expanded as well.
