Yeah, Sven Hassel books got passed around our school. I never bothered reading one though. Used to read The Victor magazine. Gott im Himmel! Aiiiieeee! I never really read any of them. I went straight from "Cor" and "Whizzer And Chips" to the music press at about 11.  |

Wonder why the watermark is Fine Art America when it’s a British magazine. Terrific artwork though. It's strange but they do have good copies. I was actually looking for saucy French illustrations (see below) and ended up with English middle class retro.  Mowlick’s fap material back in the day. |

Wonder if they still make stuff like this.  Little pulp Sven Hassel mini books were big when I was a nipper, too. I used to read Battle when I was small. Johnny Red, The Sarge, Charlie's War .... the latter being the best - Joe Colquhoun's artwork was excellent. |
