I'll have to see Blade 3. It's on my list. Josh Brolin looked tough as shit in the movie though. He was a classic righteous no-nonsense brute, but a family man too. His straight-man routine bounced off everybody. He's one of the best parts of the movie.
I don't mind the CGI villain. Remember the opening credits in the first one? They were pretty open about the characters. "A British villain", a "CGI Character", a "Moody Teen". It's all part of the joke.
Josh Brolin looked like he was trying too hard like he was kidnapped from the set of an MCU movie voice room into a Deadpool set. He was like a kid in Terminator cosplay. Just didn't look right and his tragic story of his wife being killed by the fat John Connor was a whole lot of huh? I couldn't disagree more. No the story is he's some sort of law enforcement (or vigilante?) who's making things difficult for this guy, so he hits him where it hurts by killing his family.
Tempted to say not a boy, but a man in Terminator cosplay, but that doesn't do it justice either. I thought he was perfectly cast.

The fat boy who can barely run grows up to be a family killing assassin?

The fat boy who can barely run grows up to be a family killing assassin? Never heard of a fat gangster before? Wilson Fisk?
Maybe he burned the calories.

Maybe he burned the calories. Wilson Fisk had henchmen.

Besides Winter Soldier? Honestly that's not bad. Masterpieces of film are incredibly rare. The fact that the MCU has two is pretty impressive in my opinion. I thought this movie was great and had to contain the saddest scene in any Marvel movie ever.

Maybe he burned the calories. Wilson Fisk had henchmen. True, but he's a dangerous man on his own. Fisk is a beast. His henchmen protect his public persona but one on one none of them stand a chance.
Still the kid from DP2 has powers, so that helps.
