The trailer gives me the bad Adam Sandler-esq vibe. I'll for it to be available on the small screen.

Can't wait to see it. REALLY. As a kid, I was an avid fan of Barbie's and owned a large collection of Barbie dolls.

The theater lobby was full on women. When I went into the theater, then I realize the theater next door played Sex in the City.
Seems like many women thought the same. Despite the politics, it is a big box hit and getting good reviews from the main stream media. It is getting lots of bashing from the independent media. We'll see how well it will do in a week or two.
Another thing I am wondering, if this turned out to be one of the best movie of the year, this may not be a movie that qualifies for the Best Picture nomination. I could be wrong.

I will have to wait until it comes to a theatre in a nearby city. Frankfurt/Main isn't exactly around the corner from where I live. Personally I don't expect it to have BEST PICTURE quality. It's just walking down memory lane to a time when I could afford to be uncritical.

The world has fallen in love with the BARBIE movie, which has now grossed over One Billion Dollars worldwide. I must be honest, I am dying to see it.

Christopher Nolan must be thinking, “All of my Oscars are going to Barbie.”

From what I heard, Ryan Gosling knocked his role out of the ballpark and that he was very funny. The movie itself sounds like even Oscar Best Picture-worthy.
Got to admit, you can't doubt Greta Gerwig anymore. She is building a great track record for her directorial role.
Nevertheless, I will still wait for the digital version available.

Christopher Nolan must be thinking, “All of my Oscars are going to Barbie.” LOL, I wouldn't got that far, but I think BARBIE could win Best Makeup and Hairstyles, and Best Costume Design. And Greta could get a Best Director nod.

Based on the reviews this could score big come gong season - Gosling in particular has had raves. I'll buy the dvd in a charity shop though.....

It could even be one of the favorite to win it too.
