Mother: "How was school today, Patrick?"
Patrick: "It was really great mum! Today we made explosives!"
Mother: "Ooh, they do very fancy stuff with you these days. And what will you do at school tomorrow?"
Patrick: "What school?"

That song was made back in the days when freedom was valued above most other things. They never foresaw the day when terrorism would be used as an excuse to promote a world wide fascist dictatorship.
It was a simpler time when people were encouraged to find what they loved to do most and turn that into an employment opportunity. However it seems that America has lost sight of that aspect of the American dream in an attempt to pidgin hole and categorize everybody and everything.
Hence the price of paranoia is the loss of industrious innovation and creativity.
