Eventually, it'll be like America with just one major league and no promotion or relegation. I think it will go to Premier League 1 and 2 with no relegation from 2. Either that or a breakaway European super League. Spain are moving a big game each season now to America to try to boost their brand, the Premier League will want some of that action also. It's a critical few seasons ahead for League 1 and 2 sides if something isn't done to help them survive. |
