There was an entire episode of Criminal Minds, back in 2005, when an arsonist was thought to be burning things and people "for Karen", when in actuality it was for Charon. OCD made this person set fires to "test" people, as she had been tested, by fire. Apparently, after she survived a house fire, she had a psychotic break. Her apartment was plastered with stories of fires, of the ferryman of the dead, the levels of hell, etc. It was a genuinely frightening episode. That image just gave me the heebie jeebies! Xeliou66 |
