Spurs begin the post-Kane era away to Brentford. Can Maddison/Son/Richarlison make up for the loss of Kane’s goals under Postecoglou?
Chelsea and Liverpool at the Bridge in the day’s biggest game. Will Pochettino stabilize the Blues or will Boehly’s tenure remain a circus? I’m hoping for the latter.

Wholely unimpressed with both Liverpool and Chelsea in their game.

Doesn’t seem to be much going on in Man Utd - Wolves. Mount and Onana making their debuts for United; Wolves facing a tough season after having to replace Lopetegui with Gary O’Neil.

Man U win 1-0. "Unconvincing" would be a good descriptor for that one.

Main event today is the evening clash in Manchester, with red-hot Newcastle finally looking to get a win at City. Very curious to see how indicative Newcastle's opening weekend romp was of their overall quality in a real test. Spurs/United should be another good one; Utd were extremely lucky to come away with points against Wolves and we'll see if Spurs can punish them.

Brighton would love to win here and lay claim to be a contender for top 5 finishers. How will Liverpool fare against a team they beat 9-0 last year around same time?
Spurs at home with Kane taking on a Man Utd that didn't look too impressive last week.

Their midfield is still settling as Szoboszlai, MacAllister, and Gakpo continue to gel. Yep, I'll boldly predict that it won't be 9-0 this time!

Well, Liverpool starting as good as last years start of the season... Very concerning play at the back. You have to bank on their quality up front to level the score eventually, though.

Manchester City is going to win the league, the FA can just give them the trophy before the season starts.
The PL is a one team league.

Tools concede the first and don't look like creating so much as a half chance. Give the 3 points to City and move on.
