slowcomingwarbird , I haven't played the partisan game for many years. Who launched this missile at Dallas-Fort Worth?

Now USS Leyte Gulf has been decommissioned. Navy decommissions cruiser Leyte Gulf after nearly 40 years of serviceIt's okay. We've still got nine more, I think. China has none. Let me rephrase that. China has no cruisers......on paper. ๐ And it doesn't matter anyway. I'll tell you what matters. What matters is calling some disgusting purple-haired freak by the correct pronoun so that he/she/it/they/them doesn't get low self-esteem. THAT'S what really matters! ๐

No I don't think the military has always been corrupted. I think it followed our leadership, when they went the people they command gradually put their own agenda into place. I guess it is all we've got, but if it can't defend our border then it's really not doing what it was intended to do, so IMO we don't need it. I'm not worried about China or Russia, not militarily anyway, they couldn't get an army here big enough to take the US by force.

In case you haven't heard US Marines are presently occupying Pacific islands that haven't been occupied since the end of WWII. And you probably heard it already, but more US troops are going to Europe. It looks pretty real to me. The MSM is presenting it as more of a "when" than an "if." Thanks for your interest in the topic. I may do another thread about it soon.

If you were concerned about nuclear war you would be against arming Ukraine or giving them weapons launched into Russia. So don't. Trans people aren't really discussed a lot on the board anymore so where you're seeing such discussion is a mystery.

What are you talking about? I'm talking about defending the country, as in people like you and I, not some island or Ukraine. Yes, you're right the media presents it like it's inevitable (sadly it might be) but again that's in the interest of our elite class and not the country.

What I'm talking about is what you're talking about. It should have been self-evident. Perhaps you should read it again. However, that being said, if no one fights them over there, the only option may be to fight them here. Don't get me wrong. I enjoyed "Red Dawn" as much as the next person, but it was fiction. Anyone who wants to do that is either insane or naive.

Given that Destroyers and Cruises are essentially the same size and their armaments have heavy overlap, the difference between the two is increasingly semantic.
