Sandra Hüller is great, I have to see that movie.
Sandra Hüller worked with director Justine Triet previously on 'Sybil' (2019). I'd like to see some of Triet's films.

I watched it over the weekend. Great movie, definitely a worthy winner of the Palme d'Or.
As an aside, I was very glad to see that the theatre was pretty full. It could have been 2019! And for an international movie. Good sign that maybe movie-going is not dead just yet!

I liked it a lot, super tense and engaging with great performances. My best of 2023 so far, though I still have a lot to see

I liked it a lot, super tense and engaging with great performances. My best of 2023 so far, though I still have a lot to see That's sold me ... I thought it would take a lot to shake Past Lives from the top spot and then I saw Monster - if Anatomy of a Fall is in the same league, then 2023 would be a good year.

I've not yet seen the two other films you mention.

It’s the big winner at the Césars this year, taking home the Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actress awards.
