I got this from the ScienceAlert Twitter feed so that gives me a basis for calling it science. It's more in the nature of an opinion piece (prophecy?) but it seems to me that it will prove in the next few decades to be an accurate prediction. Any way, what do you think?

WW3? That would certainly cull the world population a little bit.

I don't think it's at all unlikely we'll be experiencing mass worldwide population die-offs in the not too distant future, from disease, climate change, whatnot (I'm assuming that's what's being predicted as I don't get Twitter and didn't read the story), though I agree, the graphic suggests something more like nuclear war. Either way I have the feeling Mother Nature is getting ready to step in and restore balance to an over-populous and over-dominant species (us)..but I'll be just as happy if I'm not around to see it.

I feel that man has ruled this world as a stumbling, demented child-king long enough! And as his empire crumbles, my precious Black Widow shall rise as his most fitting successor.
