It was against Arsenal and Arsenal had the mighty John Radford up front if memory serves. Jennings was in goal for Spurs then, about 1974 ish. Had a free season ticket to Arsenal. |

Hah, I'm old enough to have gone and seen Martin Chivers play. It was against Arsenal and Arsenal had the mighty John Radford up front if memory serves. Jennings was in goal for Spurs then, about 1974 ish. Had a free season ticket to Arsenal. I was a Spurs fan when I was a small boy (mainly because the older boy next door was). I remember when they bought Ossie Ardilles and the other Argentinian player after the 78 world cup - that was totally new in British football - players who were not from the town they were representing. |

Indeed, you were only allowed 2 foreigners in a side back then, they should have stuck with that. Ricky Vila was the other one. |
