LSU didn’t look sharp last night and they missed several opportunities- twice they got stopped on 4th down deep in FSU territory. Great second half performance by the Noles. I'm not promising anything. But college football teams usually get better as the season goes on. Especially LSU. They historically start slow and sloppy. They have a powder puff next week. And all season to slowly get it together before they have to play Alabama.

No. Just win the SEC games. Even if they beat Florida State, they would have to win their SEC games anyway, to go anywhere.

So yeah LSU has to run the table now in order to get in, and that’s a very tough task.

You are wrong - if they lose 2 or 3 games but win the SEC, they will not make the playoff. A conference championship doesn’t earn you an automatic playoff birth.

First of all, I don't think any team in the West is ever going to even make the Championship game with three losses. But how often does LSU lose three games in a season? They could lose two. As long as they win the West, and the SEC Championship game, they're in the playoffs.

REPLY #2 Florida State could turn out to be the best team LSU plays all year.

Fair enough, FSU looked great, but the SEC West is loaded and I have a very hard time seeing LSU running the table from here.

If they are gonna go anywhere, they'll have to earn it.

REPLY #2 Florida State could turn out to be the best team LSU plays all year. LSU has to go to Alabama on the first Saturday in November. That's never easy
