It's the long mix, so ignore the intro.

Well, since we're picking more than one.

I found that there were a lot of rock music that I liked, which led me to contemplate just what it was about all those pieces of music that I liked.
Perhaps it was best phrased in an episode of Rick and Morty: "It would be great if there were a formula for determining the best music." Indeed there is such a formula... A formula for consistently creating the best rock music.
Something that I arrived at while on my quest to become a rock musician, a dream I had since meeting a couple of band members of REO Speedwagon in person when I was just a kid.
And this one...
Something you should probably notice immediately about both of these songs from different artists is that both of them are in 4 / 4 time with a back beat of approximately the same rate as the human heart rate in a state of relaxation. That's it, that's the big secret, and everything else is just embellishment.
So you might ask well why does that matter? It matters because that relaxed rhythm rate produces a hypnotic state of pleasure and euphoria. A formula to cause people to instinctively like and listen to the rock music you create.
So there it is, I know that handing this industry secret out for free online is going to piss a lot of people off. But hopefully it will lead to better rock music, because must of the new stuff being made these days sucks ass.

Part of the album that pretty much killed the waning Grunge genre in 1994 and turned the music industry on its ear. So yea I'm just gonna leave it right here.... Much how "Smells like teen spirit" buried hair metal ...KoRn subsequently snuffed out Grunge.

It says 'video unavailable'. As for me, it would be impossible to pick only one favorite song.
