Why would high-income people eat at Olive Garden when they can afford to eat at legit Italian restaurants? I can think of a few reasons. Maybe they don't know any better? Maybe Olive Garden just close, convenient? Maybe they fear getting entangled with the mob? Maybe you're taking your girl out and she specifically requested it, so the power of pussy compels you. |

I said people may avoid authentic Italian restaurants because they *fear* the mob. Maybe not so much today, but in times past I can see it being a concern for people like Pilar's dad. |

At least the one in this pic. it does have an upscale look but the menu is really reasonable. and the portions are pretty good, i can order a pasta jambalaya and have half left over for later. :)  but it's the $10 off and 20% off coupons that get me coming back. so let's say we order $60, if we use a 20% off coupon that's $48! but then with the Costco 30% off coupon that brings the $48 to $33.60. totally a deal. :) |
