Don’t tell me you are not familiar with how the American Revolution happened? Why would France interfere? Payback to Britain for stripping most of their North American colonies I guess. I do not really know, but they did and it made Britain's defeat possible. Had it not been for the French fleet's defeat of the Royal Navy at the Virginia Capes then Cornwallis would've been evacuated from Yorktown and there'd have been no victory. |
