Host a dinner event for 2,000 people and charge $500 a plate. Serve something low cost that can be made in pots and served in bowls with a dinner roll to keep cost down.

Why would someone pay all that money to eat with you? Leaving insults aside that does touch on the hard work that has to be done first before organising the event. There has to be a reason why people would pay that much for an unimpressive meal so the answer to the OP is a solid no. But I’m guessing there’s something else going on here and probably something to do with liberals.
