Yes, I know it's probably daytime in Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Florida or California. That's not the point. Whatever fucking time it is in whatever part of the world you may be the board is, IMO, moribund. The spark of excitement is gone. Perhaps it's just a general exhausted acceptance of the way things are. Even the latest Barbie thread barely got bites, and solid threads about the transgender madness have not taken flight.
Perhaps the board just ebbs add flows, and it's low tide now.
On the other hand, They Shoot Horses Don't They? also comes to mind.

I worked til about 9pm last night. From 10am til about 6:30pm tonight. I am scheduled to work from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 2pm to 7pm Sunday. I am a little tired but in 30 minutes I am going to hop into my 2000 Pontiac Trans-am, pick up my wife if she's up for it, and cruise in this beautiful 22' Celsius weather (73 Fahrenheit for us Americans) and just drive with the radio up and the t-tops down.

Most people are sick of the transgender threads. You’re getting obsessed with it. That part of the thread was heavily tongue-in-cheek Carl. As a bloke who uses a pic of Timothy Carey in his avatar you should have been able to ascertain this without me having to point it out to you! You have no idea what I obsess about, but it's certainly not the transgender cult, fucked up and insane as that, and its enablement, is. |
