With a career that lasted from 1944-2001 (57 years), she lit up the screen with her talent and her charm in films like Silk Stockings, Please Don't Eat the Daisies, Bachelor in Paradise, Romance on the High Seas, and Two Guys from Milwaukee, among others. On Broadway she starred in The Pajama Game and later replaced Angela Lansbury in Mame, running for two years and garnering rave reviews for her performance.

Bathing Beauty 1944 with Red Skelton and Basil Rathbone, TV sit-com It's Always Jan 1955 - 1956, Columbo TV episode Blueprint for Murder 1972. Singing with Dinah Shore on her Chevy Show not sure what year between 1958 and 1960.

For being more famous for her stage work, it's amazing she had time to be in over 100 movie and television productions between 1944 and 2001 as an actress, plus being a panelist on many other TV shows like Hollywood Squares.

Always look at the bright side of life! Even if I can't live up to it!
