She's got three companions?
For all their bluster, the BBC clearly aren't entirely confident a woman can carry the show.

A female doctor. Two black characters, two Asian characters. And a disability.
Oh, and a pathetic white guy who spends the whole show saying 'I am important, I am important' then gets told off by the doctor for kicking the villain off a crane.
Yup, it sure been well and truly social justiced.

Third one was abysmal. Rosa Parks. Good grief.

This show is just terrible. Have you considered just not watching it? Works for most people with shows they don't like.

I'll give up eventually. It's not her, it's the writing which admittedly includes a load of desperately PC isms. Effects seem cheaper than 5 years or so ago also. Both she and Capaldi deserve better scripts.

Well, that was the worst one yet.
These Dr Who writers seem to think good sci-fi simply means being on a ship in space where some stuff happens.
Jodie Whittaker is okay. She does all the tedious Whoisms like being whacky and eccentric or suddenly having the epiphany where she works out what's happening. "You're a genius, Dave," she says whenever someone says something that helps her have that epiphany.

The one where they beam down to the planet and it's indians. The one where they beam down to the planet and it's nazis. The one where they beam down to the planet and it's romans. The one where they beam down to the planet and it's prohibition. The one where they beam down to the planet and it's cowboys. The one where they beam down to the planet and it's the 60's. All totally mundane stories, bookended by beaming down and beaming up, therefore it's sci-fi.

I think there has been a conscious decision to take it back from nerdy blokes and return it to it's intended children audience with the new writing, and quite right so.
