Just because I like American entertainment doesn't give Americans the right to be racist. Going by your logic, why are so many American factories in China? I thought America hated China. Why does America continues to deal with Saudi Arabia? Most of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi. Why does America still has Pakistan as an ally? The mastermind of 9/11 was found hiding in Pakistan. I think you’re missing the point, if you truly don’t like America or Americans, you shouldn’t consume products of a culture of people you don’t like, right? Why would you? Don’t you find it objectionable and racist or whatever? American factories are in China because companies choose to build them there. Most of us don’t hate the Chinese but we do hate their government, as all moral and decent humans do. RE: Saudis - that’s the government making that choice, not a poll of all of us. My example is about YOU making that choice. You have control over yourself, I don’t and virtually none of us have control over where Apple makes its product. I think you should put your money where your mouth is and consume cultures that aren’t American. That would make it so you aren’t a hypocrite. How's that for hypocrisy? Like it or not, the nations that control most of the world oil supply still get to call most of the shots. Regardless if you are talking about Saudi Arabia withholding oil from the United States in the 1970's or now it is the same old game for the same old reasons. Every world war at it's core has always really been about the security of the world energy and food supply. World war 3 which has already unofficially started is no exception as oil and food supply issues are causing inflation to spiral out of control. |

I would say it's an indication of a modern society where people don't have to live the rest of their lives in misery, and can get divorced. I'm betting the countries with low divorce rates are oppressive and ass-backwards. Then why marry if your lives are going to be miserable together? And to only end in divorce. Because shit happens. Maybe one fell out of love, or things didn't work out. |

I have known some very racist Democrats. A few have gotten caught in public, but excused. Look at all the racist crap Biden has gotten away with because he's a Democrat. To say that illegals aren't wanted here because of their skin tone (which some liberals have claimed) is a lie. They should come to California and other border cities. Plenty of brown people here who are here legally. And it's BECAUSE of all this illegal immigration that some say we need a moratorium on immigration. Legal immigrants have suffered because of illegal immigration. |
