A POTUS cannot be affiliated with a private company- that much is true. it doesnt say anything about anyone working under him or her Lets say you are right.... You would still be wrong here. Ivanka Trump began in March her unpaid position in the White House as a formal adviser to her father. Before that, she was an informal adviser. Since she isnt getting paid I dont see the problem. It would be no different than Obama or Bush playing golf with some CEO and having this person give them some advice( that probably may benefit that CEO) A POTUS can choose who he likes to converse with. Free country, bub. If she is working hard to help the country and not taking a dime for it( while working elsewhere) I couldnt care less. She seems to be doing a great job so far considering Trumps accomplishments. I wish we had more POTUS's like this. and the economy is doing great so I could care less if Ivanka, her brother, her husband or whoever is making out on the deal.If they keep up with the good work , then they earned it. More power to them. Lets say I am wrong and you are right.... ,.... OH MY GOD! Corruption in the WHITE HOUSE?!!!! Say it isnt so! I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO shocked at that! No really, I am!! Thats SOOO different than every other freaking country on the planet that is totally NOT corrupt! No Seriously I REALLYYY am.

You seem to be forgetting, or aren't aware, of the big hubba about what outside activities the Trump kids could be involved in if they worked under their father in his administration. There could be a serious conflict of interest if one is allowed to have a foot in each world - the private sector, and government. Remember, for example how Pelosi was tripped up on 60 Minutes a few years ago - she was involved in legislation (or potentially could have been) that related to companies that she held stock in - a perfect setup for isider trading. Congress passed some rule after that expose, but I don't think it went far enough.
Whether Ivanka works for her father for a salary or not, is irrelevant. If she has, say, input on foreign policy matters, she has the potential of affecting her business dealings with how she advises her father. Just the potential for a conflict of interest is bad enough. Right now she is allowed to operate in 2 worlds with the potential of a conflict always present. Who knows what she advises behind the scenes, or what governmental information she is privy to that others in her line of business are not? That's why there was that resolution that the Trump kids, at the start of the administration, if they were to act in an advisory or any governmental capacity, had to have relinquished direct input in their private business dealings. In the case of Ivanka that seems to have been ignored.
You're right - corruption in the White House has been par for the territory. It is a problem, and has been through many administrations. But why add to the problem? A problem should be addressed and resolved, not exacerbated. In the case of Ivanka, that problem seems to have been overlooked (not that she's done a nothing wrong, but the potential has been created for that and is there). Remember, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. There are far too many rules and regulations thatare bent or overlooked for those with connections and power. Just look at the Clintons! Hopefully they'll get their comeuppance soon. But Trump pledged to clean up the swamp of D.C., not replace it with a new swamp. With Ivanka, I think he's gone back on his word. And I support Trump on many areas. But he's bending the rules in favor of his daughter - a no-no if he wants to be honest.

So Pelosi got in exactly as much trouble as Harvey Weinstein, and Dick Cheney Halliburton. None. Hillary Clinton can’t draw a crowd yet Goldman Sacks will pay her $800,000 per hour to speak to a small room? Government itself is the conflict of interest. There is no exception to it possible.

Yeah who cares? Its pretty much small potatoes. I hate Obamas guts after what he did to the health care in the US, but even I wouldnt care if his advisor was running a company. Big deal. Doesnt affect me. Getting JOBS affects me. Lower taxes affects me. Whether or not some advisor of the POTUS is making out on a deal does NOT affect me.

I’ll post wherever and whenever I want. Ivanka has campaigned for the likes of Cory Booker and such. She might not identify with either party but she leans more to the left, despite the fact that her daddy is in office. How about you use your brain and do you research, you racist trash.
