I do. Things have changed from 20, 40, 60 years ago. Now college sports, especially football, brings in millions for big colleges. That would never happen without the players.
I think they should get paid and be required to pass remedial basic studies so that they don't leave college unable to read, write and speak properly.
They should be able to major in their sport if they can make a living at that sport.
What do you think and why?

Should newspapers have a sports section? Things have changed from 20, 40, 60 years ago.

They should at least get some kind of a share of the huuuuuuuuuge profits the big college programs rake in from sports.

How come Infowars doesn’t have a sports section? There point here which should be obvious is, YOU pay the athletes, if that’s what you want. It’s not. That’s why we need the freedom, for you to run a business the way you want to and fail on your own instead of taking me down with you.

But someone shouldn't get into college unable to read, write or speak properly.

Let them quit playing and see if colleges will agree to start paying them to play. In the end that's the only way to decide the issue.

Infowars doesn't have a sports section because it's a crackpot conspiracy site, not a sports one. The only time they ever mention sports is when someone kneels during the national anthem. What's your point here? Secondly what the hell do you mean 'taking you down with me'? And what's that got to do with whether college sports shares the income it generates with the athletes? Or is this just some libertarian diatribe about 'hands off my money...duh...duh taxation is theft'?

But someone [shouldn't] get into college unable to read, write or speak properly. Well, one thing at a time. It is bad enough athletes graduate college unable to read, write or speak correctly. It is another thing entirely when they graduate high school being unable. At least they got to college.

Do you think Shaq got rich playing in Orlando? No, he got rich playing in college, everybody knows that. No, he got rich playing for the Magic, the Lakers, the Heat, the Suns, the Cavaliers and the Celtics. 1992–1996 Orlando Magic 1996–2004 Los Angeles Lakers 2004–2008 Miami Heat 2008–2009 Phoenix Suns 2009–2010 Cleveland Cavaliers 2010–2011 Boston Celtics And if Shaq got any money in college, it was nothing like what he got in the pros. As a matter of fact, he is making more now doing commercials than he ever did in college. If he made any at all.
