Am I alone in finding them an utter pain in the arse? More dreary shite from England that you feel obliged to at least glance at and the joy of the League programme cruelly taken away from us leaving me with no excuse not to do gardening and other chores. Oh and Southgate needs a slap.

They should take place on a Wednesday between normal fixtures. I don't see why everything needs to be disrupted for this shit.
Others tend to agree. Which is why they invented this nations league thing -- to do away with friendlies.
But it's still bullshit.

It's swings and roundabouts anyway, any team big enough to have a lot of players away with their national side will have a large enough squad to compensate. I think it may be more down to top flight clubs wanting constant breaks. |
