The US would seize the territory and take whatever natural resources they can get, turn it into a military base (I guess it basically already is one). American Evangelicals would be cheering because they think they finally got their Rapture/Armagedon/Apocalypse/whatever. PMC executives would be crying because now they have to find some new scam to get money from US tax payers. |

The biggest resources in Israel are the Jews. Just like Asians are precious resources in America. It’s the culture, not DNA. The cultures of these two groups leads them to be resources. Israel cannot be wiped out without whatever enemy does it, is wiped out too. Palestinians cannot wipe out Israel. Iran cannot wipe out Israel. The only part of your hypothetical that is remotely possible is that the Palestinians are wiped out, and unfortunately that isn't really as remote a possibility as some might wish. Israel is intent on taking over the west bank as soon as they can find a place to send the Palestinians, and Hamas has gifted Gaza to Israel. |

If North America were suddenly swallowed up by a great cataclysmic event, and left a giant hole, which swallowed up much of the oceans' water of the Earth, and the remaining ports around the world were suddenly hundreds of miles from the water, would they rename all the oceans?

Muslimkind think that it’s the first step towards a pan-Islamic state, a caliphate. The next step after defeating Israel is overthrowing the Arab monarchs.
A caliphate has the mandate to expand, militarily, when it thinks it can win.
The goal is a global caliphate.
If you’re asking whether the fighting will stop after the fall of Israel, the answer is NO.
The best answer is for Islam to seriously moderate, and until they do, to not allow mass immigration of predominantly male refugees to western nations.
