According to Matthew 27. Of course this was written 40 to 50 years after the Romans had forced most Jews out of Jerusalem and shut the Temple down in 70AD. There was no curtain tearing or earthquake in 33AD. 50 And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.
51 At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split |
