1. The Endless 2. 71 3= Cell 211 3= Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol 3= Outlander 3= The Judge 3= 3 Billboards Ebbing Missouri Fully recommend all of the above. Thought The Endless was good but not as clever as it thought it was. "71" is an Excellent film, "3 Billboards is stunning and maybe the best film of the last 5 years. Some I have liked are the new Rupert Everett film about Oscar Wilde (can't think of the name), "Annihilation" (best sci fi I've seen in ages), "The Wife". Also looking forward to seeing "Black Klansman". Will have to check out your other ones although MI was a bit "meh" to me.

Have seen the judge after looking it up, thought it was a decent 7/10. Is Cell 211 the Spanish prison one? If so, looks promising. Another insane prison one I forgot, worth checking out is "Brawl In Cell Block 99"

It was an interesting concept but one that's been done to death in various forms. I had a slight inkling what the plot was when they mentioned the appearance of those in the cult compared to when they left, etc. There were some good ideas, but I can't say I found myself enthralled too much by it.

I liked The Endless too. I felt sorry for the old fronteirsman caught {Spoiler}caught in a 10 second loop.
The audio commentary on indie/small budget films is always much more interesting and enjoyable than the AC for big budget major studio movies
Some other movies I've enjoyed this year:
Brawl in Cell Block 99
Ghost Stories
The Belko Experiment
Train to Busan
Deadpool 2

"71" is an Excellent film, I put it on thinking, "Here we go, another low budget British film, this is going to be crap." Within 20 minutes, I was utterly gripped by the tension and outright fear. From then on, it was just stunning. I've watched it 3 times now.

I really want to see Resolution, the film that happens alongside this, about the brothers in the cabin (one chained to the radiator), where strange people come and visit them, the strange people being from the camp featured in this film.

Deadpool 2 Yeah, and it wasn't just that, but his awareness and trying to communicate. That reminded me, (to a greater extreme) the last episode of American Horror Story where Jessica Lange made a deal with Papa after Angela Bassett's character visage. (Trying to squeak by without giving stuff away, plus I can't remember which season that was).
