Things like throwing stars or numchucks.
I have never once ever seen a news report where they did. They are just for nerdy, weak teenage boys to mess around with feeling like a bad ass or for movies. Right?

When I was in the local park one day I saw a brief altercation between one of the middle aged drinkers and an aggressive young man that ended when the older man took out a pair of nunchucks and twirled them in a threatening manner. Apparently there had been some trouble earlier and he went home to arm himself. One of the weirdest things Iβve ever seen.

No need to be coy about it

I remember the throwing stars being banned from sale back in the 70's here. Holloway was like a ninja movie in 2012. A woman has been stabbed with a samurai sword in north London in an "unprovoked" attack, police say. An unarmed officer responding to the call of a woman being attacked on Holloway Road at 00:40 GMT was confronted by a man with the sword. The victim, 22, an Italian, has wounds to her legs, arms and face but her injuries are not life-threatening. A 25-year-old man was arrested and a bag containing a crossbow, samurai type swords and hunting knives was seized. The police sergeant who went to the scene found the woman bleeding heavily on the floor, the spokesman said. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-20837829

I sometimes think I see ninjas but they turn out to be Muslim women in full gear.

We used to make throwing stars out of paper in primary school and chuck βem around. They were folded origami style! Iβve long forgotten how to do it now.

I used to be able to cut flies in half midair with the stars.
Broke a few windows though.
