"Posters that looked like repeating patterns" LOL at first I thought you meant NovaStar, John Spartan, or ThatsaShocker. Not nearly as entertaining as Magic Eye images. There were a few books, then they just disappeared. I guess they creators made their $$ and vanished. The 90's had a lot of fads like that. I had an easier time finding Waldo where I could never see those images. The trick is to let your eyes un-focus. Like you were "zoning out." Some folks are not capable of doing this at will nor physically. |

Some folks are not capable of doing this at will nor physically. My trick was to focus on the reflection in the glass in front of the image. I could see it almost immediately every time. For the ones that are being posted in this thread I can't see anything. |

The local paper would print a 1/2 page version as part of the Sunday Funny Papers ... even those who could see them, usually couldn't see those ... because the newspaper printing process was not precise enough to render and align the colors properly. |

remember those posters that were popular like 25 years ago that looked like just a repeating pattern, but if you stared at them long enough you could see a 3D image of something in them? I hated them They were impossible. You had to look at it but not look at it. Like not focus. |

I’m able to go boss eyed (probably due to my eyes being close together) and can easily see the images. First time I saw one it was a HUGE poster at a design exhibition and it was like a hole into another dimension had just appeared before me.
