remember those posters that were popular like 25 years ago that looked like just a repeating pattern, but if you stared at them long enough you could see a 3D image of something in them?

I think they were called, "Magic Eye," weren't they? Maybe I didn't know I was supposed to stare at it for a long time or else I didn't have the patience but I never saw anything. If there is anything online, I may try it again. Or was it all BS and ppl. just pretended to see things to fool their friends? I do have 3D posters where I put on glasses for those and they are really fucking cool! The images really pop out and look like they are floating in air. Why are you asking just the Libs about this?

Bing Bot answers: Why Can't I see Magic Eye Images ?
"According to an article by Mental Floss, most Magic Eye problems have to do with the way the eyes work with each other and the brain. To view 3D stereo images, your eyes have to work together as a coordinated team. If they’re not pulling together, you’re going to have some glitches in your binocular (two-eyed) vision or stereo vision (where the two slightly different views from your eyes are combined in the brain). A number of things can cause binocular and stereo vision impairment—most commonly, deviations or misalignments of one or both eyes (“crossed eyes” or “wall eyes”); situations where one eye is dominant because visual stimulation either transmits poorly or not at all from the other; astigmatism; or cataracts."

So I can plausibly claim that it is politics related.

"Posters that looked like repeating patterns" LOL at first I thought you meant NovaStar, John Spartan, or ThatsaShocker. Not nearly as entertaining as Magic Eye images. There were a few books, then they just disappeared. I guess they creators made their $$ and vanished. The 90's had a lot of fads like that.

I had a relative who kept giving me the books and posters knowing full well that I could not see the pictures and would give them back to him. Crafty !
