To ID everyone
Violet - green dress Freida - curly red hair
Shermy - green shirt Sally Brown - blonde, light blue dress "5" - yellow shirt, short hair "3" and "4" - twin girls, purple dresses
Schroeder, Pig-Pen and Snoopy need no intro
The "numbers" were short lived character that were inn the strip when the Christmas show was made. This was before Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Rerun, Woodstock were introduced.
Yeah, I'm that big of a Peanuts nerd
I recall 5, 3, and 4. Named by their father after his breakdown from having to deal with too many numbers. Based on their zip code IIRC. Indeed.
Do you remember Charlotte Braun?

Lol no. Who the heck? She made only 10 strips. A loud mouthed version of Charlie Brown. Shultz killed her off and her bossy, loud mouth character got transferred to Lucy. A lady wrote to Schulz, begging him to kill Charlotte, complete with a drawing of the poor girl with an axe in her skull. Schulz wrote back ". Remember, however, that you and your friends will have the death of an innocent child on your conscience. Are you prepared to accept such responsibility?". She never appeared in any of the reprint book until the Complete Peanuts came out. I hadn't even heard of her, except as a dubious tale

Once I semi retire, I am buying the complete hardcover collection and sitting back and reading them all. Maybe I'll come across her haha

Love that. It's a damn shame no commercial network will air this special any longer.😞

Once I semi retire, I am buying the complete hardcover collection and sitting back and reading them all. Maybe I'll come across her haha When I was a kid, I had all the Holt, Rinehart Winston treasuries. Peanuts, More Peanuts, The Unsinkable Charlie Brown, Ha Ha Herman, Charlie Brown etc. I also cut the strips out of the paper and glued them to a scrapbook. I knew there were missing strips and it bugged me. I bought all the Complete Peanuts when they come out. They are worth it. The introductions are nice and they have an index, to if you wanted to see every strip "5" was in, you could. I wish the Sunday strip were colorized but it would have doubled the cost. Get the first few. Fun to see Lucy as a toddler who referred to herself in the3rd person, Charlie Brown as a smartass, Snoopy as just a dog, Schroeder and Linus as babies. And missing strips. Lucy in a golf tournament, complete with adults!

Whichever one is suffering from the most brain damage, I guess. Probably the Frankenstein walking guy in the back.

Linus.
I own the entire 26-volume collection of Peanuts. And The Gospel According to Peanuts and The Parables of Peanuts. And Happiness is a Warm Puppy, The Peanuts Cookbook, and Peanuts: A Golden Celebration. Also several vintage Peanuts vinyl dolls from the 1960s, a Charlie Brown Christmas tree, a couple of Peanuts wind-up musical figurines, a Snoopy snow globe, an astronaut Snoopy from the Apollo space program era, and some Peanuts-related clothing.
But It's not like I'm obsessed or anything.

My wife has us both beat. She has a small tattoo of Woodstock on her shoulder
