peanuts and sesame street pretty much taught me how to read and enunciate.  I watched SESAME STREET most mornings before going to school as a little kid in the 1970s... However I never got into PEANUTS and only know of it through Snoopy the dog. Snoopy seemed to have his own separate fame, apart from the rest of the characters. |

Schroeder, Pig-Pen, Linus and Snoopy need no intro
The "numbers" were short lived character that were inn the strip when the Christmas show was made. This was before Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Rerun, Woodstock were introduced.
