Near top right, just below what is surely “Life of Pi”, there are pictures of famous places in Paris and in London, with some sort of giant worm going from one to the other. What could that be?
Below that there are three companies of soldiers with a red arrow. Can’t think of that one either.
Below that it is surely Animal Farm, and to the left of Animal Farm there are three sets of ear+old gun. No idea about that one either.

The "worm" looks like a giant rat's tail. Therefore: A Tale (tail) of Two Cities. The companies of soldiers under the red arrow stumped me, too. Three sets of ears + 3 muskets = The Three Musketeers. Calendar pages = 1984 (that one was easy) Soldiers vs. a dove = War and Peace (another easy one) Hmm... Call of the Wild(e)? (I looked up Olivia Wilde at IMDb, and though the drawing doesn't much resemble her, it was the only title I could think of) The Pelican Brief (since Bird Bearing Blue Undies didn't sound right, lol) Two sides of Earth battling each other... War of the Worlds? Feathered friend in crosshairs = To Kill a MockingbirdVenus de Milo rising with departing traveler = ??? (This one's got me stumped) 4 dudes of different occupations = Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy
Thief before and after = Crime and Punishment The Cat in the Hat The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
Grate Great ExpectationsCharlotte's Web Death on the NileCatcher in the RyeCharlie and the Chocolate FactoryI have more, but I'm too tired to post them right now.

Metaphorically kicking myself for not thinking of A Tale of Two Cities and The Three Musketeers - although a musket is a long gun, not short like the ones in the picture.

Just realised the answers were printed in the same edition of the paper as the puzzle itself!
