The last 15 years has been action movies only. Does he have no interest in dramatic acting anymore? In my opinion he's at his best in movies like The Firm and A Few Good Men.

It's more he's gotten lazy and complacent doing well-paid but non-challenging blockbuster movies.

What I suspect is he has already done all the acting in dramas he cares to do, at least for the time being. He is now just more interested in doing huge stunts.
But he still does dramatic acting, just not in dramas. The scene with Val Kilmer in Top Gun 2 is dramatic acting.

Perhaps as he gets older, he'll shift from acting and take a stab at politics. Run for president, that sort of thing.
