"In this 1937 entry from Columbia Pictures' "Color Rhapsodies" series, Hollywood stars go on a picnic. Among the stars caricatured are W.C. Fields, The Marx Brothers, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy, the Three Stooges, Clark Gable, Shirley Temple, Mae West, Katherine Hepburn, Greta Garbo, Martha Raye, Step'n Fetchit, and many more.
Shown with the original Columbia main titles intact, this cartoon, released by Columbia Pictures, was produced by Charles Mintz and supervised by Sid Marcus (story) and Art Davis (animation) with music by Joe DeNat."
Ruder and cruder than the Warner Bros. shorts and definitely NOT "PC" but the characters are mostly recognizable. Especially liked "George Raft " in the pea eating segment.

My favorite guest star on The Flintstones was Alvin Brickrock, in an episode that used Hitchcock's Rear Window plot with Brickrock as a new neighbor who may have killed his wife.
I also liked the appearance by the Beau Brummelstones, who performed their hit "Laugh Laugh" on the show.

I also liked the appearance by the Beau Brummelstones, who performed their hit "Laugh Laugh" on the show. It cracked me up when Barney sen the book and said his name wasn't Alvin Brickrock but "Archie Oogley". Fred corrected this to Archaeology. But to this day, the study of prehistoric ruins has been Archie Oogley to me.
The Beau Brummelstones were good, not as good as The Way Outs
And there was Bug Music with them Four Insects

I thought it was disturbing when the Way Outs' bodies seemed to come apart when they jumped up.
