Brian McCardieThis has happened a couple times in the last few years, and it's always weird when it does. I'm watching something when an actor comes on that I'm sure I've never seen in anything before, but he's familiar and I don't know why. And then it suddenly hits me. Happened again today, during the closing episode of Britbox's Murder Is Easy. An actor entered the scene, and I knew I'd never seen his work before but I thought, "Why do I know that face?" And then it hit me: it was Brian McCardie and I knew his face from seeing it right here only day before yesterday. As I said, it's weird when you recognize an actor only because you just saw his obit. Seemed an interesting actor. Shame that neither his role nor his life lasted longer. I'll make a point of looking at some of that other work.
