When a well-known player passes after quite a long life and career, the films from which you remember them come naturally enough to mind. Thinking of each, I inevitably reflect on which others of their casts have preceded them and which are left. For Dabney Coleman, this one comes first to my mind: How remarkable that, only day before yesterday, all four principal players were still with us. Now I've gotta find out where I can see this.

American actress Barbra Fuller has left us at the age of 102, on May 15th. She had worked in radio shows since the 1930's when she signed a contract with Republic Pictures in 1949. She appeared frequently in B-movies and television series in the 1950s. She changed her hair color frequently for film roles. Its hue varied from platinum to brunette in her four movies released by Republic Pictures in 1950. She returned to blonde as Laurel Vernon in Lonely Heart Bandits (1950). Her first screen credit was for The Red Menace (1949). This was followed by roles in Flame of Youth (1949) and Crosswinds (1951). In The Red Menace she played "Mollie O'Flaherty", a character used by the Communist Party as bait. In City of Bad Men (1953), a Western adventure, she played a minor character. Afterward, she was mostly involved in television and radio work. Her last parts as a movie actress came in How Sweet It Is! (1968) and The Roommates (1973). British-born Australian singer Frank Ifield has left us at the age of 86, on May 18th. After living in Australia, he returned to the United Kingdom in November 1959 where he had four number-one hits on the UK Singles Chart in the early 1960s with his cover versions of "I Remember You", "Lovesick Blues", "The Wayward Wind" and "Confessin' That I Love You". At the hight of his popularity he also starred in the movie Up Jumped a Swagman 1965. His singing and yodeling appears on several soundtracks. He is remembered by NMER.I.P. Frank Ifield

Polish composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek has left us at the age of 71, on May 21st. (multiple system atrophy) He wrote scores for more than 70 feature films and documentaries, including Finding Neverland 2004, for which he won an Oscar and a National Board of Review Award. Other notable scores were for Hachi: A Dog's Tale 2009, Unfaithful 2002, Evening 2007, The Visitor 2007, and Washington Square 1997. He is remembered by DeadlineR.I.P. Jan A. P. Kaczmarek

(victim of a homicide) Known for playing Brando Corbin on the series General Hospital 2020 - 2022 and Johnny on the NBC series Siberia 2013.
