I came across something about Johnny Carson that revealed him to be a shitty human being. He was a misogynist and treated his wives like crap. Plus, he had a biracial granddaughter who grew up in poverty, never claiming her as his granddaughter.

peachy , The guy was a walking turd.
He held fantasy grudges against innocent people.
He stated on "The Tonight Show" in the 1980's, that the cure for the economic boom in the Japanese market, was to redrop the A-Bomb.
He was a vicious coke-head and a drunkard.
He was FILTH!

He was apparently very jealous of other TV talk show hosts. He was constantly putting down hosts such as Mike Douglas (an inoffensive daytime host) and Merv Griffin (who seemed to have a wider variety of guests). A (probably drunk) Carson once spotted Tom Snyder, whose Tomorrow talk show followed Carson's show on NBC, in a restaurant and reportedly tried to pick a fight with him apropos of nothing.
When David Letterman's show followed his on NBC, Carson demanded that his guests would be prohibited from appearing on Letterman's show. So Letterman was forced to look for alternative guests, which resulted in a more eclectic selection--everyone from Siskel and Ebert (whose appearances were so successful that Carson eventually invited them on his show), to Pee-Wee Herman, Brother Theodore, Larry "Bud" Melman, etc. This resulted in Letterman's show being more of a "must-see," especially for viewers who were tired of such recurring Carson guests as a slobbering Buddy Hackett, Dyan Cannon cackling at nothing, and Robert Blake, unlit cigarette always in hand, perpetually raging about everything.
In 1975, Carson was furious at NBC for airing reruns of his show on late Saturday nights, a time which traditionally had just a tiny viewing audience usually reserved for old movies on the Late Show and horror films. Partly to placate him, NBC had to agree to desist from rerunning his show and filled the time slot with a variety show featuring music and comedy sketches with a cast of unknowns. The result, Saturday Night Live, became a huge hit, with Saturday late-night suddenly becoming a popular viewing time. So Carson's pettiness only made a new cash cow for the network.
Carson's characters were filched from other comics of the time--Karnak (Ernie Kovacs); Aunt Blabby (Jonathan Winters); Art Fern (Jackie Gleason), etc. He started doing a Mr. Rogers parody after seeing an SNL sketch which about Rogers, and did a takeoff of 60 Minutes' Andy Rooney after Joe Piscopo imitated him on SNL.

It's rich that you accuse Carson for being "a misogynist [who] treated his wives like crap" and then in your signature you advocate a misogynist who treated (treats?) his wives like crap" for POTUS.
