It’s pride, son. A cracker is of Anglo-Saxon heritage, while a redneck is Scots-Irish. What do you have against them? I’m also of Swiss heritage, so that smooths me out a bit. You folks take yourselves far too seriously and you keep missing the parts of simple living by trying to live up to someone else’s high expectations. You have feet of clay just like everybody else, but you need to be special. The Vikings are special to me not because they were “evil doers,” though they did a lot the people of their own era considered evil, but because of their spirit of adventure. It is that “the next horizon” spirit that got us into outer space. as a proud Krout/Mick/Norwegian/Dane......I'm no cracker or redneck, and I'm certainly not a self-loathing Caucasian, and that's why I enjoy whiskey, and a cold beer, and a good relish tray at a nice Supper Club with a nice prime rib If you weren’t, you wouldn’t be afraid your own history.
