I have probably told this story before, but it still tickles me Last year I was walking through London when I was approached by a police man and woman. The police woman asked if I would turn my pockets out, which I did. Nothing suspicious was found and I asked what the fuss was. Apparently someone answering my description had snatched a lady’s handbag. For Christ’s sake guys, I said, I am 76 years old with two tin knees and a walking stick and you think that I am a mugger?
And the police lady smiled prettily and said, it is flattering isn’t it?

Senile delinquent?
I met Lesley Judd when my 100 foot long cartoon was featured on Blue Peter.
She’s tiny.

He’s not mentioned in the cast list but he used to perform with the Python team before there was a Python team and Cleese once appeared on The Goodies and called it a kid’s show.

I have seen Bill Oddie a few times.
Great comic and a really grumpy little sod.

Is it my imagination, or is that Tim Brook-Taylor in a MONTY PYTHON sketch? He’s not mentioned in the cast list but he used to perform with the Python team before there was a Python team and Cleese once appeared on The Goodies and called it a kid’s show. I know of the mixed heritage that THE GOODIES and MONTY PYTHON share, from their early days in the Cambridge Footlights at the University of Cambridge, through to various members working together on programs such as I'M SORRY, I'LL READ THAT AGAIN and AT LAST THE 1948 SHOW. THE GOODIES was broadcast in Australia four nights a week for most of my childhood, so I'm quite familiar with THE GOODIES AND THE BEANSTALK and I also have the DVD boxset of the MONTY PYTHON films and TV series. However, it was the still image on the YouTube video that caught my attention and it occurred to me that if John Cleese could appear on THE GOODIES, why couldn't one of them appear on MONTY PYTHON... particular TB-T, who had such a long professional relationship with some of the MONTY PYTHON members. PS - I like both, but I've always liked THE GOODIES more.

At his age, he can be whatever he feels like being. I expect the amount of fucks he has left to give is slightly less than zero. ;)

You're lucky you weren't black or they would have had you on the ground with a knee on your neck.
