When I died, I met Jesus on a beach, and there was golden sand.
There were footsteps in the sand. Jesus told me those were my footsteps in life.
I noticed, as we walked along those footsteps, that there were other footsteps beside me. Jesus told me that he was walking beside me when times were good, which wasn't very often, because soon, I saw that there was only one set of footsteps going deep into the sand.
"Did you abandon me in those tough times?"
Jesus smiled and said, "No, son, I hopped on your back and made you carry me, idiot".
Nice to know that I was carrying him. I do hope he stops calling me an idiot, though.

There is only one set of footprints because the sand people walk in single file to hide their numbers.

There is only one set of footprints because the sand people walk in single file to hide their numbers. They prefer to be called Tusken Raiders.

That is profound.
Deeply, penetratingly profound.
