Sometimes the statistics compiled for the Academy Award reminds me of baseball stats in its detail and triviality, more so than any other sport (Announcer: “That’s only the third time in world series history that a runner has scratched his butt while standing on second base in the third game at 7:30 p.m. on October 16th when the temperature is exactly 68.3 degrees”).
About the Academy, I learned that 6 women have been pregnant at the time of their winning a Best Actress Oscar. Can we name them?
Extra credit question: who was the only winner of the six to have not accepted her award in person as a result of her pregnancy.
EDIT: I misspoke. It is just an acting Oscar, not necessarily Best Actress. Pardon me for this very, very rare misteak.

My favorite: Eva Marie Saint was so excited by her Oscar win for On the Waterfront that she announced to the audience, "I may have the baby right here!" Her son was born two days later.

In 1983, Meryl Streep
"When asked backstage what she would tell her future daughter about the big night, the actress responded, "That she was here." "

So far we have ID'd Eva Maria Saint, Meryl Streep, Natalie Portman. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks like the last three will not be guessed, so...The others are: Patricia Neal, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Rachel Weisz.
Patricia Neal was the only one of the six to not pick up her award in person.
