I don't get why people call it Los Vegas when it's Las Vegas. It's like they can't read. I 'spose it has something to do with 'Murican accents. Locals can get quite picky about the pronunciation of NEVADA but I cannot recall what the "correct" one is .... I remember that I was saying it wrong somehow and was corrected. The American pronunciation of it is accurate to the Spanish origin of the word though. It’s actually the Los in Los Angeles we pronounce with the accent. I’m guessing OP thinks it should be pronounced LASS Vegas? They probably do that in Boston.

You seem to be saying there is no difference between the pronunciation of the Spanish words 'los' and 'las'. Sorry, that's just wrong.

Americans pronounce the Las like LOSS. Which is Correct. We generally pronounce the Los in Los Angeles the same way, which is incorrect. Los in Spanish is pronounced with a long O like in the English word LOW. You said we pronounce the Las wrong, because you obviously thought it should be pronounced LASS. So, I’m sorry— THAT is just wrong. 😎

Yes. You understand dialects, right? The pronunciations of these words are the same in Spain, Mexico and South America. There is no country on Earth where Spanish speakers say LASS. You can keep digging yourself into this hole but I’m bored now. Enjoy your time in LASS Vegas. 😂😂😂

Might want to rethink all of the shit you said above.
